End of tenancy (EOT) cleaning is a thorough deep clean of a rental property before a tenant moves out. Cotton Fresh Cleaning provide an affordable check-out cleaning service that can bring the property back to a satisfactory state to hand over to the landlord or the estate agents.
Our typical standard service checklist
- General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping down all surfaces.
- Kitchen Cleaning: Deep cleaning of appliances (oven, fridge, microwave), degreasing surfaces, sanitizing sinks, and wiping cupboards inside and out.
- Bathroom Cleaning: Scrubbing toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, tiles, and descaling fixtures.
- Windows & Doors: Cleaning interior windows, windowsills, doors, and frames.
- Walls & Skirting Boards: Removing marks (if possible), dusting skirting boards, and wiping light switches.

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS you need to consider
When vacating a rental property, there are many things to get right so you can be reasonably sure of having your deposit returned. We have given you some guidelines here, which would be chargeable extras if we undertake your end of tenancy cleaning:
1. Oven cleaning - the oven or cooking appliances need to be spotlessly clean
2. Carpet cleaning - whilst we will vacuum the carpets, most tenants will need to make sure the carpets are thoroughly cleaned
3. Window cleaning - you need to make sure the windows in and out and clean, including frames and sills
4. Damages to walls - if the walls have damages or need painting, then you might need to look at this too
5. And finally, make sure that you do everything you can to leave the rental property in an excellent condition
